Profile Projector

It is a bench Profile Projector suitable for all types of measurements and inspections at different industries. Its multilayer coated projection lenses provide high transmission with optimum contrast, suitable for contour and surface images. The equipment ensures high accuracy in dimensional measurements and surface inspections.

Its unique rigid pedestal system facilitates vibration free handling of components. Both Episcopic and Diascopic illuminators designed on halogen bulb system are provided to ensure brilliant projection on fine ground glass screen, rotatable through 360' with vernier reading to one minute of an arc. The screen has cross and detachable clips to hold comparator charts. The precision Micrometer Measuring stage with Rotary measuring stage is mounted on the table.

RADICAL Bench Profile Projectors are suitable for all types of measurements & inspections in different industries. Their multilayer coated projection lenses provide high transmission with optimum contrast, suitable for contour and surface inspection images. The equipment ensures high accuracy in dimensional measurements and surface inspections. All models of RPP Series are CE marked.

Their unique rigid pedestal system facilitates vibration free handling of components. Both Episcopic and Diascopic illuminators are provided to ensure brilliant projection on fine ground glass screen, rotatable through 360° with vernier or Digital Angle Display to eliminate the need of complex calculations. The screen has 90:cross line and four detachable template holders to hold transparent comparator charts. The precision Micrometer Measuring stages with Rotary measuring stage are mounted on the tables. Optionally easy to read digital counters for X-Y stage travel are located near the projection screen thereby minimizing strain associated with excessive movement.

The circular graduated scale is divided into 360° in steps of one degree with vernier reading to 6 minutes. Lifelong smooth movement is assured by the incorporation of hard steel balls both in longitudinal and transverse slides. High resolution objective lenses specially designed for different profile_projection under telecentric illumination minimize residual distortion to 0.1%. The basic instrument is supplied with 10x, a multielement coated projection lens. V-Mounts for easy interchangeability of objective lenses are provided. Projection accuracy +0.1% in case of contour illumination and +0.15% in case of surface illumination is maintained. Wide choice of available accessories enhance the scope of applications in various fields.

RPP Series Profile Projectors can output X-Y coordinate data, except for Model RPP-250. Highly efficient 2-dimensional data processing is available by connecting them to optional SMART DRO.

Mechanical Micrometer Heads

For use on standard work table featuring an extra large thimble, Tungsten carbide measuring face and hard chrome plated non glare satin finish. Available in 0-25mm & 0-50mm with resolution 0.01mm, 0.005mm & 0.001 mm

Digital Micrometer Heads

For use on standard work table featuring a large LCD 0.001 mm/0.005" resolution, absolute & relative measurements, metric inch conversion, cemented carbide face & 3000 to 5000 hours battery life.

Data Processor

	Point Measurement It can measure several points on a job. These points can be individually stored in permanent memory. Also it can calculate average point using Max 99 points.
	Line Measurement It can measure angle of lines on a job. Selection of minimum 2 points to maximum 20 points is required to form a line result are shown in angle with respect to X axis and complementary angle.
	Circle Measurement It can measure circle on a job. Selection of minimum 3 points to maximum 30 points are available to measure a circle. Measurements are shown in Polar format, Angle format and Radius format.
	Distance Measurement It can measure the distance between point to point.
	Angle Measurement It can measure the angle between two lines.
	Skew Measurement The skew function converts machine co-ordinates to part co-ordinates by electronically compensating for part misalignment. The skew function should be used each time a new part is mounted on the measuring system.
	Wonder This feature helps to minimize function key pressing. Also it detects which geometrical shape has been probed.

Constructions

This feature is the process of combining existing functions to generate a new function. A function must either be totally constructed or totally probed. It cannot be generated by combining a construction & probing points. To construct any geometric function the user can select the data storec in temporary and permanent memory.

PACKAGE CimPROJ

CimPROJ is a comprehensive PC-based retrofit package for Profile Projectors. It can be integrated with all kinds of Profile Projectors - Manual, Semi-automated and Automated (DCC). CimPROJ consists of PC-based graphical measurement software and standalone hardware for interfacing linear scales, optical edge-sensors, joystick and drives.

In addition to standard measurement features, CimPROJ provides several advanced features such as

CimPROJ provides all the typical features required for measurement of components. This includes measurement of geometric features, constructions, calculations, alignments etc.

Geometric Entities & Construction

CimPROJ can measure geometric entities from probed points. CimPROJ allows previously measured features to be used in geometric constructions. These help in indirect measurement of features that cannot be directly measured.
