Fully Automatic Optical Brinell Hardness Tester
FTM make fully automatic Optical Brinell Hardness Testing Machines Model : OPFB-A-3000 is a Production Testing Brinell Hardness Tester.
Construction
The machine body is fabricated from steel plates & designed for easy handling with a completely enclosed Hydraulic Circuit with power pack. This is sturdy design for longer use.
Operation
The machine works on a operator friendly automatic cycle with a single button press.
- Start the Hydraulic Motor of machine.
- Place the job on the machine table.
- Press the "start" button. This will start the automatic operation cycle as below :
- The elevating screw will come up.
- As soon as the job touches the clamping cone of the machine, the elevating screw will stop and the Ball Indenter will swivel & will take the indentation on the job.
- After the application full load, again the ball indenter will swivel up & the impression will be displayed on the Optical Screen of the machine.
- Now read the impression. The time required to read the impression can be preset between 5 Sec. to 30 Min.
- As soon as the preset time is over, the elevating screw will go down to preset distance so that you can remove the job & reload another job. This will complete the Auto cycle.
- Some time the impression has to be taken on a specific point. For that "Inching" buttons are provided for setting the job on the machine table.
Accuracy of Machine :
Machine confirm to IS 22 81-2005 & BS 240 & ASTM -E-100.
